The darker voice in the P family.

Within the Jensen P family, the P12Q takes the darker tweed voice — a lightweight bass, a low-mid scoop, a piercing bite, all rolled off early at the top. Above the rolloff, air drops out and ice-pick harmonics don't survive the cone. Less peaked than the ceramic C12R; softer up top than its siblings. Not a hi-fi speaker — no low-end weight, no top-end extension. Voice sits heavily amp-dependent: a no-NFB tweed lifts the bite and bass; a blackface moderates both.
