The sound in a thousand Fender combos.

The C12N carries the family scoop and the piercing bite, with the honky upper mids that also show up on the P12N — the fifty-watt slot voicing. The top rolls off gradually rather than cliffing, air fades without disappearing. Less piercing than the P12R, more forward than the C12K, less bright than the C12D. The definitive middle voice of the C-series — and the voice of blackface-era Fender combo clean tone at every rig from the Princeton up to the Twin.
